This policy explains what data GridLords collects when you race, follow or post, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account details: your name and email address from Microsoft Entra, and the role you choose (Rider or Fan).
Profile details: anything you add yourself, such as a username, profile photo, bio, country and racing number.
Race data: sessions, lap times, sectors, results and details of the simulator used, submitted from connected simulators.
Activity: the riders and organisations you follow, and your posts, comments, likes, shares and tags.
2. How we use it
To run your account, verify and rank race results, build global and event leaderboards, show your profile and power the community feed.
To keep GridLords fair and safe — for example, spotting suspicious lap times or abusive content.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.
3. What others can see
Your profile, posts and results can be seen by other GridLords members. Leaderboard positions from public events are visible to everyone taking part in or following that event.
Organisations can see the details riders share when they register for their events.
4. Sign-in and security
Sign-in is handled by Microsoft Entra External ID, so GridLords never sees or stores your password. Your data is stored securely on Microsoft Azure.
5. Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account from Settings, we remove your profile, posts and personal details from GridLords and delete your Entra sign-in. Anonymised race results may stay in historic event standings.
6. Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us through the Contact page and we'll respond within 30 days.
